I went out to lunch today and had the coolest feeling... I was driving behind a camaro, thinking to myself, "I bet you (the camaro) are looking in your rearview mirror, seeing this hot looking car, wondering what kind of car it is." The camaro changed lanes, I passed, and then it got behind me. I thought to myself again, "Yep, she's just as hot from the backside too. Oh, so you finally realize it's a Mazda RX8, huh? Yep, new car. Yep, cooler than you."

After the camaro was behind me, I was behind a S2000. The thoughts started all over again. All I could do was smile inside, and my smile was huge.

Anyone else get this feeling?

yeah my favorite was when i was behind a porsche GT3 and the middle aged gentleman kept glancing in his rearview mirror at the stop light, and gave the nod as i passed by him later.

i also follow sports cars for the same respectful reason (sports cars are hot) i once went on a 10 mile detour following a lotus esprit.

yes, I get that feeling often. I like it when another sports car adjusts his speed so he can either slow down or speed up to the lane of traffice you are in so he can get a better look.

My wife gets a kick out of all the people trying to do an Exorcist (spinning their head around to check out the 8) when we drive by them/or them driving by us (mostly us driving by them :D )

theres a building on the way home that has a mirror shine to it and it's right at a stop light .so every time i drive by it i go realllly slooow .just to check out the car.

^Lol. I do the same thing when driving by the buildings downtown.

And I constantly get stares from the College students when I'm driving through town. Good stuff, I tell ya.

But Last weekend, I was driving in front of a Boxster S and behind a F430 and I was getting as much looks as the F430 and more so than the Boxster. :D

Drank a bunch last night, had a blast and didn't wake up w/a headache... Got to sleep in this morning because I've worked over this week... Didn't have to deal with the cluster f*** that's going on here at work today... Only two more working days until the weekend... Less than an hour and my day is over... and some other stuff that I'd rather not disclose. :)
