VWjet 06-03-2003, 08:06 AM This Porsche won the Virgina City Hill Climb a few years back. The huge wing is completely functional for its purpose - climbing steep grades at high speeds. Check it out...

It may be functional but it sure is butt ugly!!! You wouldn't catch me in that thing.
MRocks 06-03-2003, 10:52 AM You can pick it up and put it in your pocket.
TreknMazda 06-03-2003, 01:10 PM Doesn't the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration for our global members) require structures this tall to have a red flashing/strobing red beacon for warning low flying aircraft? :p
Looks like an oversized baby stroller to me. :D

design-wise, i know i can do better... but i've seen that solution on many a SCCBC Porsche GT race car... i just wish that they'd come up with a better one, that's just too freakin' ugly.
johnsocal 06-04-2003, 03:59 PM That wing on the porsche is too SMALL.
I want to get a larger one for my RX8.
The BIGGER the BETTER:D
zoom44 06-04-2003, 04:01 PM i need something to throw at john...........:D ;)
