Exclamation RX-8 Shinka visits MSCW Feb 2nd (VA)

This Black Cherry Mica beauty (only 2150 to be available nationwide) is due to arrive in town this week. Rosenthal Arlington's Jason Corbett (Internet sales) has kindly offered to bring one to the Mazda Sportscar Club of Washington meeting on Wednesday, February 2nd. Join us in the parking prior to the 7:30 PM meeting to see this newest member of the RX-8 family tree.

Members and guests start arriving as early as 6 in the parking lot to mix, mingle and check out the variety of Mazdas from stock to impressive. Typically, we have had more than 50 cars each month if the creeks (snow drifts) don't rise!

Other topics of interest at the meeting will be several new event announcements for the coming months including a Virginia Tech session (not on US Route 1) February 16th. Maybe even a guest appearance by the Service Director at this new location.

Fuddruckers is located on Spring Hill Road, one block south from Rt. 7, Leesburg Pike, 1 mile west of Rt. 123 just prior to the Dulles Toll Road. Behind Rosenthal Mazda, across the street from Rosenthal Jaguar. Most members will park in the Southwest corner of the former Windstar office building, 100 feet from Fuddruckers front door. Our corral will be clearly visible from Spring Hill Road.

Additional details about our meetings available at www.mscw.com. See you Wednesday!

Unhappy RX-8 Shinka not delivered

The meeting will be great even without the RX-8 Shinka. The car got delayed at Port. Sorry, but sometimes things don't work out. Jason will bring the car next month. And it should be at the Virginia tech session February 16th.

I'm not going to make it this time. GF slipped and fell on ice in front of Giant while carrying my 3 Mo. old son. Everyone is Ok (bumps, bruises, and abrasions) but I'm stressed to the max and just want to go home. Sorry. Catch y'all next time.

Meeting starts around 7:30 in private dining room. Cars are probably showing up in parking lot now but most get there between 6:45 and 7:15.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Hope everyone didn't get too shaken up. But glad to hear no serious injuries. *Whew!*

Thank you. Everything seems OK according to the EMTs and Pediatrician. I'm guessing he had a headache last night since he kept waking up.
