Augusta. We had an ice storm that fell for about 7 hours. How was it near the south?

it happens to our boats, on a much smaller scale, up in AK.....or at least it would if we didn't try to prevent it.

I think something like that happened recently in Toronto. Because of the extreme cold during last week's snow storm ... some water mains broke and some poor guy's car was right infront when the water came out. So in the morning, the guy and his son had to go at the ice with ice picks. Some minor paint damage. Sorry I could find the link but it looked similar to the above pic.

Neither a Boxster or an MR2 - it's an MG MGF (manufactured mid-90s to current (although the upgraded current version is the MGTF)), never sold in North America.

Hey to all fellow GA 8'ers. Now that i'm stationed here in Oklahoma I too get a LOT of ice. I'm just nervous as hell that I don't have a car port to shelter my baby from the inevitable hail storms and twisters to come in a few months. Oh, the horror!!!

your bumper is "off"

Wow yea, your bumper does look like its falling out of a place a bit there.

Also, if the ice accumulates on your car like this (as in a little bit, not like the car covered in ice picture :p ), should it be removed, or does it not really hurt the car to have ice on it?

Wrecked by an idiot not paying attention on I-75. I stopped the truck behind me stopped and this idiot plowed into the car in front of him and sent her and the truck behind me into my car. The car he hit was destroyed and the truck bumper was bent all the way into the front tire, so my car looks a lot better than it should since the FHP trooper said the impact was at least 40mph to my car.

This is a couple pages late, but the guys at the garage on Alfred and King street in Old Towne do a really good hand wash.

I WILL! The cold actually cracked my windshield :( I have to take it to the dealer soon to get that proven for sure, but I didn't have any cracks on my glass until the ice storm passed through. Phooey. :(

Shabs, welcome to the Club--What color is your 8 and whereabouts are you generally in Atlanta? Ti Gray here, in the Smyrna/Vinings area.

Markd - Thanks for the welcome :) Aww it cracked your windshield? That sucks! Sorry to hear that. :( In certain circumstances maybe I'd cry too. hehe I guess not everyone would tho. Oh well. Whatever floats your boat! I'm in Stone Mountain and my 8 is blue. I just got it back yesterday.
