Has anyone ordered from tire rack in the US and had them shipped here? The prices look attractive, but I was wondering how much of a hassle it was.

The Canadian dollar is not as low as it once was :D !

 

A few Miata owners have, and a guy I work with got winter wheels/tires for his 04 SVT Cobra Mustang from TR this past fall. Aside from paying GST (and PST if it exists where you live), the only pain is paying brokerage charges to the shipper. It's still a pretty good deal if you can't find what you want from the Canadian vendors like www.tiretrends.com or www.talontire.com or www.1010tire.com !

Just looking at prices, for tires like the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's or the Pirelli PZero Nero M+S (just to pick two), the price difference is very significant between TireRack and the sites you have listed. Saving PST would NOT make up the difference.

 

My son just purchase tires for his Prelude from Tire Rack. Tire Trends didn't have what he wanted in stock. Price from Tire Rack was comparable or a bit lower. He had them within 5 days of ordering and was very pleased with their service.
