Yup, my winter wheels & tires. Milli Miglia EV-R 18x8 and 18x9 with Pirreli Winter Sport 240 tires 225/45-18 & 255/40-18

For the summer I have Axis Hiro's 19x8.5 and 19x9.5

Thanks Mike. Nothing else for the exterior. The only thing I have left is to find a center dash gauge pod for my gauges and then I'm done with the the look of the car. Then it's just performance upgrades.

Trust me you don't want the job. I was in Iraq for 15 months as a civilian contractor.. that's how I can afford the splurge on my car.

if you wish to use foglights you have to get different brackets. they were easy to install though. they run about $67 or so from Rosenthal

does it still feel like the car you fell in love with initially, or do you feel overmodified?
i only ask because i once had a 911 and i modified it so much it no longer had the balanced character of the original car even though it went like hell.

Overmodified? Not in the least. at 7psi you don't sacrifice any of the RX-8's "daily drivability".. it's only 240rwhp, well.. that's a lot, but still.. it's still easy to control the boost and drive around town to run errands.

coil overs are one of the next things on my list. I have the racing beat springs on there right now.. only lowered it by about 1/2".

No, I'm keepoing the stock rear diffuser (sp?). I don't like any other the aftermarker rear bumpers/diffusers that any of the companies have released. I am totally happy with the stock rear.. besides, it matches the lines of the MS kit very well.. that and I like the rotary accent on the rear and the 'wire mesh' look ;)

I'm not quire sure what you mean by front bar in front? You'll have to explain a bit more.

**EDIT** Oh.... I think I know what you mean now.. you're talking about the black plastic in front of the wire mesh. I think it is removable. I'm going to look into that in a little bit. I think it's there in case you want to connect a front license plate. If I can remove it, I will. **EDIT**

That front black plastic thingie is to cover the styrofoam piece from the crash bar (US spec only).. it is removable, but the grill would have to be replaced as well since it only comes up to that piece...there would be a huge gap if you take it off and the white styrofoam will show and look tacky.. some people tried to paint it, but.. doesn't look quite right... some people remove it completely.. :eek: not safe IMO... :)

haha, i took out the styrofoam peice anyhow.. along with the black plastic box that covers the stock intake hose system. blocks too much airflow... by the way.. the stock oil cooler air flow guids are pretty heavy.. they are made out of pretty thick rubber, not plastic

All together I am shooting for 3-5 gauges. That's all dependant on if I can find the right style of gauge pods. I am using the Defi-Link Meter BF series gauges. All with white display. http://www.defi-shop.com/product/bf/bf_top.html

These three at a minimum to be put center dash:
Boost
Exhaust Gas Temp
Fuel Pressure

These last two if I can find a reasonably priced gauge pod for the cigarette lighter spot:
Air/Fuel
Oil Temp

Those are my winter wheels. Got them at tire rack. They are Mille Miglia EV-R in 18x8 and 18x9. I think they cost me $225 and $235ea for the front/rear. Summer wheels are Axis Hiro's which I have on the car now. There's a thread with pics in the wheels/brakes threads
