Vancouver Window Tinting

Anyone in Van had their windows tinted? If so could you recommend somewhere I should go.. as well as how much they charged you?

Thanks,
Dave

I had mine done at Trimline in vancouver (it was kinda hard to find the first time on Clark st.) it was last yr (so long ago :p ) sorry I don't remember how much it costed
but they did a pretty good job (made the gaps line up near the defroster wires and no bubbles of course)

I think they have to do it in multi pieces cause otherwise it would bunch up because of the curve of our windows? My friend told me the better places do it so they line the gaps at your defroster wires so it'll be less noticeable?

Mine is all one piece. They need to heat shrink it carefully....one piece is easy on this car.

There are a lot worse windows than the 8

Detail Concepts in Langley...they have a new tinter now....don't know how he is. I talked to him...he seems organized, and knows what he is talking about

Or call Signature Mazda and ask who they use...I saw a couple of cars they had on the lot.....they looked good

I got my 8 from Signature and the tint was great. So great I got a ticket! $109.00 for tinted drivers and passenger front windows, against the law in BC I discovered.

when tinting... in BC... avoid going tooo dark..enough so PoPo can see you in the car...i had it on my Focus 2 yrs straight .. no probs.. try 20% in the back and 35% in the front.. thats a good combo...
