I was going to sell/trade her car in, but she didn't go with it. The only good news is that she agreed to the RX-8 as a third "weekend car"... once both of our current cars are paid off.
But I can't do that until December of 2004 (unless I get a raise).
A weekend car is a plus, but a year and half away? Sadness...
I can't explain to you what a pure joy it was to own two RX-7's - in my single days.

I feel for ya. I'm in the same boat. I'm looking forward to a 2005 model. My wife is pregnant and my Miata won't cut it for our weekend rides anymore. My wife's car isn't payed off yet, so I have to wait until next summer. Oh well, maybe there will be some new features or improvements for the 2005 models.;)

"It's my way or the highway."
That will work for the future of a nice, healthy relationship.
I was in the same boat, I had a Honda CR-V I was still paying on, but I also had about 11k in the bank I was going to use as a down payment for th RX-8. Even though the interest rate for the CR-V was lower than my RX-8 will be, I paid it off because my overall monthly payment will be more than a hundred dollars cheaper than the two cars combined.

...and just maybe when you pay off both cars your wife might let you take a look at your balls that she's been carrying in her purse. Just kidding, I couldn’t help it.
