View Full Version : first rx8 crashed! j9fd3s 05-30-2003, 08:42 PM http://www.rx7.net.nz/rx7netindex.html mike RX-3_13B_Tommo 05-30-2003, 09:47 PM they spelt 'later' wrong, they must be about as smart as the person in the RX-8 Hercules 05-30-2003, 09:56 PM I find it sad but entertaining. At least it's one more moron off the road driving a very cool car :) j9fd3s 05-30-2003, 10:06 PM i hope the engine finds a good home mike Elara 05-30-2003, 11:31 PM Ahhh! That poor car! At least it looks like the front airbags deployed successfully- does that mean this one didn't have the side curtain air bags or that they just didn't go off? dreamgetter1 05-31-2003, 12:09 AM didn't make that right turn very well...:( neit_jnf 05-31-2003, 02:07 AM Originally posted by Elara Ahhh! I guess they just go off on side collisions Fab 8 05-31-2003, 02:32 AM OUCH! Thats painful to see... What a waste.:( ZoomZoom 05-31-2003, 05:56 AM Very sad to see... :( RX-Nut 05-31-2003, 06:13 AM Wow.. that hurts. Lensman 05-31-2003, 08:14 AM Originally posted by Hercules I find it sad but entertaining. At least it's one more moron off the road driving a very cool car :) So we're eliminating the possibility that it was someone else's fault then are we? Interesting. rxtreme 05-31-2003, 09:47 AM Notice how jacked up the front end is (could be worse, but still a pretty bad crash), but the driver/passenger compartment is relatively unscathed. It didn't crush or deform. This is a good sign that the RX-8 is pretty safe in real world frontal collisions. Now lets see some side impact ones and put all the doubters minds at ease. Doctorr 05-31-2003, 10:04 AM I am hugely relieved to see it doesn't have black rims........ . . . doc ZoomZoom 05-31-2003, 12:16 PM Originally posted by rxtreme ...Now lets see some side impact ones and put all the doubters minds at ease. Sadist! ;) Wolverine 05-31-2003, 12:27 PM Or quite possibly that this car was used in a crash test?... http://search.hwysafety.org/vehicle_ratings/ce/images/overhead.jpg evel333 05-31-2003, 01:08 PM If cars could talk. Poor thing...you were too beautiful for this world! (^_^) Farsyde 05-31-2003, 01:23 PM it felt like my nuts gettin crushed seeing that. I hope it was a crash "test" zoom44 05-31-2003, 01:57 PM that's not that bad, totally fixable. be back on the road in a month. :) Hercules 05-31-2003, 02:16 PM Originally posted by Lensman So we're eliminating the possibility that it was someone else's fault then are we? I like it when people use the search feature but they don't have to respond to the old threads. |
