Ahhh! That poor car! At least it looks like the front airbags deployed successfully- does that mean this one didn't have the side curtain air bags or that they just didn't go off?

Notice how jacked up the front end is (could be worse, but still a pretty bad crash), but the driver/passenger compartment is relatively unscathed. It didn't crush or deform. This is a good sign that the RX-8 is pretty safe in real world frontal collisions. Now lets see some side impact ones and put all the doubters minds at ease.

We've been seeing alot of 2 year old threads coming back. I like it when people use the search feature but they don't have to respond to the old threads.
