side markers are they supposed to be on all the time? cuz i just realized they dont' blink like the bimmers do when u have ur turn signal on.. from what my understanding on side markesr they were another form of turn signals for the cars that are too close too see ur back or ur front side blinkers,, but then again i am probably wrong =\

 

its different for each manufacturer.. our US spec 8's stay lit all the time...

 

if you put on ur parking lights, or head lights for that matter, the side-markers will light up. and they stay lit until you turn them off.

 

In other RX-8 markets they blink. Mine blink....

 

that'd make an interesting mod ... re-wire the sides so they blink with the signals
