Im moving down to south FL for school does anyone know the gas prices. Here in the capital of pollution A.K.A NJ its 1.55 for 93 octaine.

It would be cheaper then Sarasota in most places.

i was thinking even if the prices are high in Fl. All the roads are like highways so my mpg has to be better than what NJ is stop and go stop blow horn because damm New jersey drivers dont know how to drive give finger than go its a cycle. its goes on and on and on.

damn thats cheap here in so cal its about 1.69 to 1.72 for regular unleaded. I know in LA it goes as high as 1.85. I should just buy barrels of gas out of state and have it shipped back to me.

Yeah you would think that but miami is all bumper to bumper highways. The surface streets are crazy too. Down in Ft. Lauderdale the gas prices range 1.44-1.62. And there's one thing you will love to hate about S. FL driving....old people. Imagine driving down the highway and getting cut off by some old fart doing 20mph below the speed limit. The beaches are nice so at least there is one plus.

FL has a lot of tourists. In Sarasota we have a season that typically goes from Nov to mid Apr. During that time they will gouge the hell out of you. In any area which has a tourist season you'll always see gas prices that are some of the highest in the country.
