The Vikings could have won, at least I'm pretty sure. They relied on the running game for too often, if they did what they do best; throwing the deep ball, then I think the score would have been a bit different. Not to say if they did that they would definitely have won, but it would have been a different ball game. In a way I'm excited the Vikings lost, I would like to see a new head coach in Minnesota, Tice is just not the right guy for the Vikings.

The Eagles BLOW at stopping the run (remember Pitts. anyone). And last time I looked, the Falcons really have 3 rushing backs... one that is an occasional passer. I know that the Eagles have 'improved' their rush defense. But they are still allowing 100+ yards a game (120 I think). For this game, that number is going to be closer to 200 rushing yards.

Philly is going to get JACKED UP by the ATL defense. Philly's receivers are scared of the dark... imagine what a FS or SS coming in at full throttle will leave in their drawers?

Im sorry, I may be crazy, but I am usually consistent with my picks. There are 2 things that will ALWAYS (I know, there are anomalies) put a W on your side.

1. Control the Ball. If you own it, the other team cant score. If they cant score, they cant win.
2. NO TURNOVERS (see above)

an awesome defense doesnt hurt the above argument either (see the article mentioned ATL or PIT)

With that in mind, ATL and PIT (it is a toin coss between PIT and NE)

thats 501 total rushing yards only one back with over 100 yards (barber) and only 3TDs allowed on the ground. not quite as porous as you prolly thought. Our defense is healthy and playing inspired football.

btw goldenboy michael vick was sacked 46 times and almost threw as many picks as touchdowns. not really a good combination for keeping the ball nor very good quarterback numbers, he'll have to pass eventually to win. St. Louis didnt show up, atlanta is going up against the class of the NFC, its gonna be a tough battle, not some clear cut victory against a team that backed into the playoffs :) as far as i can tell this game goes down to special teams. just keeping it real

Even though I'm a Falcons fan, if it snows, I will have to agree with you. Those Eagles are like Green Bay when it comes to the cold. They thrive in it.
