I don't think it'd have been too much to ask for mazda to include heated mirrors on the RX8. Does the GT package have em? The Sport package sure doesn't...I'd gladly give up the yellow 'hair butt' light which is illuminated on frosty mornings for heated mirrors - anyone else?

NO - got em already, wouldn't give them up for TPMS.

heated mirrors are just a nice anemity that's useless to me, I find the Tire Pressure sensor better safety net for high speed driving which is more useful.

OK,,, I am new here and just bought my RX-8 GT 2spd w/nav and I did not even know I had heated mirrors.... do you need to turn them on or are they automatic....???? I love my car and with my new EVO 5's and Blizzaks I blew past people in the BIG snow storm the day before xmas here in the Cleveland area! SO you can remove my vote for trade sensors for heated mirrors...

I think heated mirrors should come with the Sport Package, and that autodimming side-view mirrors should come with the GT.

NO - Even though I don't have them on my winter tires, I believe TPMS is essential for a car that doesn't carry around a full-size spare, or any spare at all for that matter. It's a good safety precaution.

Maybe I'll keep an eye on the wrecking yards for a GT which may be, God Forbid, wrecked, but have it's mirrors intact.

I have the mirrors on my GT, but if I had to choose I would trade the TPMS for them.

Very harsh SHOWOFF. I love the TPMS feature on the car. Anytime mine has gone off, sure enough one of my tires is low on tire pressure. Just ensure you are using it right. If a tire drops below 26psi, TPMS will go off. I only wish our TPMS was smart enough to tell me which tire!!

Really? And what parts does this consist of... I'm dumb. Would I have to paint them or can I put them in my mirror housing?

Anyway, I voted NO - I haven't actually found a need for heated mirrors yet... and it's below freezing here every morning :D

WTF are they doing to make the lights come one and off? Let's fix the problem here rather than getting PO'd at the TPMS.

I have two sets of wheels with sensors and my TPMS warning light has never come on in since I owned the car (15k miles) ........ might it be because I keep the tires inflated to the correct cold PSI? Ain't that what this is all about? :)

I'll keep both my TPMS and heated mirrors, thank you!
