View Full Version : Scans of the accessories brochure.
Chadr 05-24-2003, 07:18 PM I had some time and was feeling nice so I scanned and corrected the accessories brochure for everyone. Here are the low res pics in a few posts. Links to high res are at the bottom of each post.

B-Nez 05-25-2003, 12:20 AM Thanks Chadr. That was really helpful for me - cleared up a few things. I had thought the night lights were the side mirror lights, but I can definitely do without a footwell light. Also, was nice to finally see the different floor mats.
pmacwill 05-25-2003, 03:05 AM the premium mats are fugly

Yeah, those are so Boy Racer, it's almost sad. I do like the Japanise ones though, those are much nicer.
Fd3BOOST 05-25-2003, 09:17 AM Im getting the wankel valve stem caps for my 7. :D
knihc2008 05-25-2003, 01:17 PM anyone know how we're supposed to get things like the mp3 player and how much and where to get it installed? it seems like you'd need to get it straight from the factory?
Ahura 05-25-2003, 01:29 PM Thanks Chadr for scanning this in. But Mazda slipped a bit on their publishing.

Anyone see anything truly wrong with this picture?
Answer: Automatic brake pedal and a 6spd shifter.
chenpin 05-25-2003, 01:32 PM Maybe it's the new true-clutchless manual system! heh
rx8daniel 05-25-2003, 02:04 PM Apparently you can order the automatic pedal kit for the 6speed!
RacingDynamcs 05-25-2003, 02:13 PM we're not getting the Push Button Start kit
P00Man 05-25-2003, 02:22 PM you can get any configuration of those modules right, like MD and 6CD

ok, what am I missing here? I thought only the 6 speed came with the aluminum look pedals standard- and I see three pedals...I don't see how the picture is wrong?
rotary_it_up 05-25-2003, 08:19 PM The pedal on the far left is the "dummy" foot rest pedal. The middle pedal is definitely an automatic tranny brake pedal in that it is much wider than a brake pedal in a manual.
The aluminum pedals are standard in the 6-speed.
rx8daniel 05-25-2003, 10:44 PM right you are Mike - not only that, but if that wide middle pedal were in a stick, it'd be the clutch pedal - and that'd be one wide clutch pedal! And that style is only standard in the manual tranny models. (oh, my comment about the option was a joke - Of course you can get the optional automatic aluminum pedals for only the auto)
Apparently the options folks just cut and pasted those optional pedals into the pic for illustrative purposes only!

Nope - you have to choose one. Actually, I believe the POOMeister might be right: there are two parts to the audio unit - the top CD unit which can be either regular CD, 6-stacker or MP3 player, and the lower receptacle which is normally blanked off but can accept a cassette or MD player.
So yes, I believe you could combine 6CD and MD.
AsianStyle 05-27-2003, 06:26 PM I was wondering if the accessories brochure comes with the book because I just recieved my book but their was no accessories brochure? How do you obtain the brochure?

You go pick it up at your dealer's. Or call him/her and have it mailed to you.

my dealership and salesman are EXTREMELY slow on the uptake.
