In 2D I think the car looks slightly wrong from this angle but in 3D (largely because of the vertical curve) it looks spot on. maverikk 05-25-2003, 04:23 AM Somebuddy help me, pls: I just cannot decide whether to go for SILVER or TITANIUM??? It's like asking us to choose you a wife! I went for Titanium if that helps. hairyfrog 05-25-2003, 03:21 PM My current car is silver, and it's good but the thing I miss is that you don't really get a shine like you do on a darker colour. So, it's titanium for me ! Also there are so many silver cars around at the mo ... If you haven't seen the titanium color in person yet, don't go by the picture in this thread, because it's a bit misleading (the picture is too light). ---jps Lensman 05-26-2003, 03:42 AM Originally posted by Sputnik If you haven't seen the titanium color in person yet, don't go by the picture in this thread, because it's a bit misleading (the picture is too light). ---jps Yes, and my avatar is too dark. Do a search for Geneva and look for the pictures of the car there, that's not far off if you compensate for the show lights. I don't like the colour on the Mazda-6 that much but the shape of the RX-8 will suit it well. I saw a blue Honda S2000 on Saturday which didn't look good, then I saw a grey one which looked amazing. sixspeed 05-27-2003, 07:29 AM On the subject of colours, I'm starting to divert away from the blue (based partly on the fact that my gf is nagging me that I always have blue cars - sorry, i like the colour! lol). Tempted by black. I think the pics of the black RX-8 look great, but I hate the fact that its a nightmare to keep looking good. Thought about just going for something completely different and getting yellow... lol -andy- |
