First, I've been reading this forum for nearly a year -- great place!

Finally decided to get an 8 -- super!

On vacation now (was going to buy after returning from holiday break) in Florida and just came across a great deal of exactly the car we want -- at $4k off MSRP (32k to 28k, 6spd, GT and stuff, cash deal).

Around where we live it seems hard to get at such discount (Indianapolis, IN). I asked for car shipping, its about $650 using DAS (I've used them before).

Should I buy? Can readers comments on how much discount they have gotten around Indy and Chicago area?

lol When I bought my rover the indy dealership wanted list. The louisville dealership was offering 3k off and the chicago dealership was offering 6k off :)

The Indy folks I know paid near list but they all bought on lease...no super deals for lease usually. You might try Hubler mazda Greenwood...ask for Marcus Zimmer and tell him you saw that Hubler was a Rotary Revolution Sponsor and you were wondering what sort of deal Revo attendees received. Who knows :)

Sunflower Mazda was also a Revo sponsor and actually has a wall of pictures from folks that bought 8's from the Revolution. Sunflower is in Kansas.

Wilkins Mazda; in Villa Park , IL; is selling 04's for 4K off MSRP. I bought mine in June for 3K off.
