I might be in New Orleans for the next few years of my life. Can anyone tell me about nearby tracks, NASA regions, things to do in NO, rotary clubs of the area, etc?

Autocross action in the region is scarce from what I recall. Look for the Delta Region of the SCCA for info.

There is a racetrack about 50 miles from New Orleans called "No Problem Raceway" they have both a road course and a dragstrip. I have never been to any events there, but they seem to have some exciting things happening down there in the swamp.
