Where'd ya get it and for how much? It seems like every week I'm getting something new to clean the car with.

I use it in the home, works great. But it seems like it would be a little abrasive for the car's plastic. Is it?

I got mine at Wal-mart, a few bucks for a 4-pack.

The plastic is already textured and the eraser doesn't harm it all...

I use Mequiar's NXT Tech Protectant I just spray it on a clean rag and wipe across all black pieces cleans off wax and dirt and looks great i use it around the sunroof and aroun the mirrors no hassle and looks good!

OMFreakingG I'VE SCOURED THE EARTH TRYING TO LOOK FOR SOMETHING THAT WOULD CLEAN WAX RESIDUE FROM BLACK PLASTIC TRIM (tried alcohol, dish soap, simple green, and about to try brake disc cleaner!)!!!
I'm buying a bar tomorrow, if this works then........................... this board is worth time billion times RX Tuner pays for their ads :D

I'm worried about that too...the material is almost like a sandpaper...BEWARE

I used Meguiars, and a few others...and for shits and gigles tried Mother's trim protectant (the one for external pieces)...DAMN it works great...plus it stays blacker/brighter cleaner longer! Oh and it gets rid of the wax left over from my NXT application

I read that WD-40 will also do the job.
I tried it.
It works just fine.

The Magic Eraser isn't abrasive at all - I think it's really just some Mr. Clean bonded to a foam of some kind that breaks down as you use it.

I have used one around the house and it works WONDERS.

BTW, the old-school trick for removing wax on black trim is peanut butter. Yes, peanut butter. Works quite well, actually.
