hello everbody. last night on my way home in fourth gear i noticed my rpms did not match my acceleration speed. i have just under 7,000 miles on it now. when i had 1,000 i took it to the dealer because the clutch, to me, seemed to be slipping. well now it is! they told me if i have trouble with it to bring it in. anyone have any advice before i set up an appointment to have it looked at.?

Mention you went to the dealer at 1000 miles. this will prove you have had an issue with it and it was not abuse.

To verify if it is a warn clutch and not a transmission issue.

from idle, put your car in 5th gear and release the pedal. If it stalls, your clutch is fine. If it slips, your disk is shot. If it shutters (jerks more the 4 times hard) your flywheel is at fault.

Great advice ^^^^^

I would add...calling MANO and register the issue with them in the national database. You can reach them on 800-222-5500.
