I have this cartest2000 software and love playing with it. My question is, in the redline option should I use the 9000 rpm redline or the 9500 fuel cut off? Because the engine can still be reved higher than redline, right?

Out of curiousity, what does that software alow you to do?

As for the redline, I would put in 9,000 RPM because there are other cars that are capable of exceeding redline as well.

You can input all sorts of parameters and the software simulates acceleration, top speed, lateral grip, fuel economy and everything with a lot of very useful charts and graphs. Plus it already has a database of over 1300 cars. Go to www.cartest2000.com and you can download a demo or buy the coplete program.

As for the redline, I was using 9500 becasue technically you can shift all the way up there. Anyone got any thoughts?
