im 19 years old and i have heart diecese on saturday morning i had a mild heart attack, i had inflamtion in the heart and the chest cavtie. im fine now im taking a whole bunch of pills. It happened when i was sleeping it woke me up and i was screaming in pain so my mom ran downstairs and called 911, the paremetics came and brought me to the hospital. I had a heart rate over 210.

You better take care of yourself & do what the doctors tell you -- you still got a lot of living to do. Glad you are out of the hospital.

That's some wild stuff. I'm glad you pull through. I hope it's nothing serious and can be treated with meds. What other test's have they lined up for you? Again glad your alright, just hang in there.

Man, eclps0, that is some serious stuff for someone so young to face! Here's hoping that you'll be able to overcome this. Just stay on top of your meds & keep a positive attitude. Picturing yourself cruising down the street in your brand-spanking-new RX-8 can't hurt!;)

im feeling alot better today. On friday i have to put on a heart monitor and then this weds i have to have a stress test. The doctors said i had left enlargement of the heart, and the valve that pushes out all the blood is inpared its not working completely. The doctoprs said that with meds im fixable that i wont die or have a heart attack, which is really good.

That's great news! It might suck to have to take a pill everyday for the rest of your life - if that is what they determine you might have to do - but it's better than pain and agony, or even death.

Nobody so young should have to worry about such things - I am glad that you have some good news regarding medication. Best of luck. The few times my life took a unexpected turn for the worse (nothing this serious thank heavens) I found that helping others gave me greater strength and more purpose in life.

Sound like simple 'rotary fever' ! ! !
I hope you don't have any more problems, it sounds like they found the trouble, you will probably have to take lots of antibiotics when you have even simple dental work, just so your valve doesn't pick up an infection.
My son is about your age and he's had two heart operations so far, and he still has problems with his 'bicusp' valve, it's no fun.
Get lots of rest, and get well soon!

i just got off the phone with the doctor part of my heart is only working 45% of its capacity so basicaly im gonna be on meds for the rest of my life. But besides that im very healty.

well im not kicking the bucket untill i enjoy my rx8 lol.

Seriously, take care, I don't want to sound insensitive, but in that earlier post where you mentioned about being afraid of going to sleep and not to wake up - struck hard and heavy for me what you're going through ... (as for me, going to sleep and dream is the best part of my life, I've got to drive my RX-8 quite a few times) I hope that with the help of your family and Dr that the knowledge that you'll be able to treat this is reassuring!
