-it brings abosloutely NOTHING to the table....you like skiing and boarding... go the the mountains
-its cold
- WIND CHILL FACTOR
-snow is a bitch... winter tires or not, heavy snow falls cause accidents
-snow is a bitch.... it gets in your way
-snow is a bitch.... it slows down your commute
-snow is a bitch.... you gotta shovel the shit (at least a handful of people die each year of heart attacks trying to shovel that shit)
-snow is just not needed at all... let it stay on the mountains
-black ice
-ANY kind of ice for that matter
-Extra expense..... rust proofing, winter tires, winter jacket, gloves and touques (which get lost on the weekly)
-Too much clothing to wear
-I don't care how much you bundle up... cold is COLD and nobody looks good shuffling down the street like as if they have a pickle up their ass because its so damn cold
-Frost Bite
- Its dark when you go to work.. dark when you came back
-sickness

...... I guess you dont have to be a rocket scientist to know that I HATE winter... and I don't want to hear "but you're Canadian"... Hey man just 'cause I'm a canuk... don't mean i like to freeze off my nut-sack

and whats with this "white christmas" anyways......I could care less if I never see another bit of snow again for the rest of my life.

I love snow, but too much of a good thing is not good. If you had a young hottie wanting to bone for 3 straight days NONSTOP, it would get old after a while too.

Trust me, when it's 55 and high HUMIDITY, you don't want to have your windows down..MOst places up north are cold but it's a dry cold so it's not as bad..

Dry cold my A$$.Cold is cold my friend. No way Florida is cold trust me.Go up to Winterpeg, now that is the coldest place on earth.I don't know how anyone lives up there.Dry or not you are freezing. If salt water is freezing ,like it was last year up here in MA(cape cod canal had ice flows in a steady moving swift current) is it cold. Also Nantucket harbor was frozen, and that is an island which is typically a bit warmer than the mainland.

The short days. Dark when you go to work. Dark when you get home. Yech! I don't know how people near the poles can deal with it.

I hate the cold. As mentioned, cold is cold, especially when you factor in the arctic winds hitting you. Altough, it IS a dry cold, and you start gettign used to it, like today, I came home from the gym, was a bit hot, so I rolled down my window half way. Heck, it was a balmy 27f, up from the chilling 8-12f of the earlier part of the week and the weekend.

-you let your car heat up, go to the store and then 5 minutes later its back to freezing again.
-Snow, people have no clue in hell how to drive in it, its fricking alaska for gods sake.
-Snow, have to trapse through it, and learn the "Eskimo shuffle" so you dont fall on your a**
-Snow, if you live on a major road, it;ll get plowed quickly with a road grater, otherwise you plow thorugh on your own
-Snow, becuase they use graters you get tons of potholes
-Snow, 2 sets of rims, 3 sets of tires (winter/race and summer)
-Snow, brushing off 6-8 inches of snow EVERY morning on a normal winter gets REALLY old
-Snow....done with snow
-Daylight, going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark sucks
-Daylight, weekends are shot if you sleep in, sucks getting out the door at noon and coem out of the shops with the sun sitting at 2PM!!!!

Oh yeah, did I mention cold? LOL....

thing is, we northern climate people take the winters in stride, cause we have the best summers eh?

Winter is fine, it is snow that I hate. Snow means the 8 stays in the garage and I drive the Dodge Dakota.

Snow???? What's that???

Winter on the other hand. I hate. I am from Texas for goodness sakes. It is not supposed to get lower than 50's here, yet somehow we always end up in the 20's or 30's at some point in time. FREAKING COLD!! And yes, it is a nice balmy cold, definitely not dry. My body is just not made for that kinda weather, I shake uncontrollably throughout the day. Snow might actually be nice. Might make the shaking worthwhile, instead of it just being dark and crappy looking all the time.

I love summer. I have tons of swimsuits, sleeveless shirts, etc. Maybe I should move to Hawaii!!

I like winter. The cold doesn't bother me at all unless I'm sick. Snow isn't that big of a deal either unless I have to drive home from work in it. In PA we don't get massive amounts and when we do get the occasional blizzard, it's melted in a few days. The only thing that bothers me about winter/snow is shoveling. It's hard on my back. But that's why I have a snowblower. :p

What I hate about Winter..

1.Getting out of bed, shower, house
2.Get lethargic/lazy can't do as many things outdoors.
3.Shoveling, salting, scraping
4.Driving in the snow with idiot drivers all over the place (suvs owners drive like they own the road, black ice)
5.Car never being clean. Your car turns shades of white (salt trucks are the worst)
6.More expensive- Heating bills, clothes
7.Less light more dark
8.Walking on uncleaned walks
9.Layering and women are hidden
10.People are grouchier

The best thing about winter... you appreciate spring/summer/fall a whole lot more

8's enough

Yeah. I'd probably just throw a noose and a gun at them. They'd know what to do...

Back to whatever the hell the topic was...

I hate winter because it gets stickier here in Texas. Plus, everyone's sick and Tina has SARS.

The one thing I hate about winter, having come from Florida and been forced north...is ice. I hate ice. Which is kind of strange because we used to be friends. Strawberry Daiquiris, Iced Tea. Then it started forming patches on the sidewalk to make me fall.
