I am new to this forum and have been hooked from the first thread. This looks like a great car with some great features, but how nervous are those who ordered it with out ever driving or possibly seeing one? I am familiar with Mazda cars (current Miata owner) and have owned a RX-7 in the past, but I would be very leary about buying this car with out a test drive. The members from the far east have been a great help with their info, but it is still second hand.

Part of my aprehension is the fact that Mazda is not the best at accuratly representing the color of their cars on the net.

Nice video. I still can't get over how wonderful the car sounds! Amazing. Lots of body roll is this clip or maybe the camera is rolling more than the car. :) Anyway, very nice. I was surprised that the tires were making as much noise as they were. Clearly not soft compound performance tires on that one. Sound more like Goodyear Runflats.

I got the same test ride that your did. Simply Awesome!

I don't know if you heard or not, but the person who authorized the test rides of the blue RX-8 in Houston got fired.

That sucks.
