Nice choices........whoever came up with this poll obviously is a young punk because apparently once you're over 27 you are in the same group as someone who is 50 or 60. It would have made more sense to do is this way.

im 23 and drive a 6spd...all the time i think im too young to be driving a sports car like this, or maybe thats what people keep telling me (older people that is)

Yeah I have seen many of those polls and answered them, I was referring to the poll in this thread instead of...well you know. 85% sounds high and I didn't see any with 85% over.

Some of us are dissed that the ranges stopped at 27. You need to add over 20 more ranges before before I would fill in the survey.

I don't find these ages off at all...especially with the price of our car...

it is really to sad that during my dad's midlife crisis, his 'crisis' vehicle was a riding lawnmower...yes you heard me right!

All us old guys, 46 here, aren't gonna question how the 23 and younger groups afford the car:) lol, Some of us waited till we could afford it. Would be great to have the car at that age though. I get all the young babes coming up to mine, gonna get the windows tinted dark so they don't run off when they get close enough to see who is driving it.

Well, perhaps the Auto drivers aren't as often the type of purist automotive enthusiasts that spend all day browsing car forums. I believe in statistics they call this "confounding".

Laughed out loud at that one, man... Funny... I'm in my 20's and my windows have a 0% tint ;)

I bought my 8 at 20, Worked for 5 years started out at minimum wage $5.15 in michigan. Then got a job at a bigger company and making pretty decent money there while they pay for school. All I can say...is I saved a lot of my money and I dont have any stupid habits.

and yes...I loved every second since I get into my 8 for the first time.

24 yrs old female, stick. Driven stick for past 5 yrs and can't see driving anything else. Can afford it 'cause finished school early and landed an awesome job. Why wait until you're older to plkay with toys when you can play with them now? Remember, it's all about the ride.

Those are my thoughts exactly. I'm 24 and this is my first brand new car I bought, my 2nd sports car, and 4th car overall. And yes, the RX-8 is my favorite. ;)

my idea was go lower end of nicer car .my other option was a 2001 325i w/ sport/premium pkg, defintely made the right choice.
