My dealer just sent me a screen shot of my order that includes the VIN. The last three are 774. I am just wondering what the lowest one is so far? If we have information like this we may be able to guesstimate build rates, arrival, etc, etc...

I wonder if 509 is the first real VIN since it was the one listed in the email sent to everyone -- maybe their program read the first VIN in the database and sent it to everyone.

It would be great if all of us would register our RX-8s.

Mine is 606, it is neat to see where the cars with VINs close to mine are going. It also looks like I'm the only one who has registered an Automatic.

Hay...does anybody know how to change your registration on the registry?

I put mine in before I had my VIN number and now it is asking me for a password when I try to change it.

Anybody know what it is? I don't remember being assigned a password when I registered.

I registered mine yesterday, and now it's not there anymore. It also doesn't recofnize the password it sent to me by email. I think that site needs some work. Also, wouldn't it be nice if we could enter our order dates? That way we could compare with VIN numbers.

Sorry about that. We lost some recent registrations when apdates to the files were made. Human error. Please go back and register again. Your old password wont work since it was for your original registration that was since lost. Discard that. The autoresponder will send you a new email with your new password when you register again.

Its nice to see so many of you enjoying the website. Soon all the nessesary features will be added and fine tuned.

The website will generate a password for every new registration. You get it in a email that is sent to the email address you provided. Make sure you haven't overlooked it. Depending on your email service, if you have a "bulk mail" folder, try looking there. If you are using email filters, make sure it isn't being blocked. Is it possible you made an error in entering your email?

If you cant find it, then email the webmaster@rx8owner.com and ask for a new one, but it may take a while before he see's it so please be patient.

:confused: (assuming you're joking, but just in case...) doesn't count - this is an oooold thread you resurrected, when the fourth and fifth last numbers were always 00. Unless your VIN ends in 00096, you're waaaay off the lowest ones here! ;)
