don't buy all the dealer crap they will try to throw at you. like the 'permanent wax' or the scotchguard stuff or the window etching or the anti-corrosion crap. it's ALL a rip off and mostly fake!

Check to see that the peg is installed for the driver's floor mat (fits through hole in mat) and break it in properly (see Racing Beat web site http://www.racingbeat.com/).

Make sure the glove box dampener is NOT broken. Part of the recall work from way back.

Make sure the VIN isn't part of the passenger side air bag wiring harness recall.

I dont think there is any but silvers have been in some notable crashes including what is believe to be the first RX-8 crash, search around.

Thanks for all the suggestions. rotten42, I am aware of that.. but I have no choice as there is no more red (my first choice) GS/GT left in Vancouver and the silver one i got is the last one for 04! :(

But it's okay, I'm getting an awesome car with a super good deal.. :p I can't wait.
