My god work is boring today. What are some your favorite drinks? Gimme some ideas cause I have a long weekend of drinking coming up!

My faves are Stoli Orange and Tonic, and if I wanna get fuuuugged up then Long Island Ice-Teas.

I don't know how you could do it. I've had vodka and whiskey straight once before but never again. Taking hard liquor straight is a recipe for disaster!

Jagermeister is good with goldshlager (never had to spell what I ordered before, so if it's spelled wrong, just sound it out :) )

Also Vodka and sprite is quite good

i like most lighter reds (wine), and i've never been adverse to good rum or Scotch (Glenfiddich)... yes, neat, as it should be.

I never ever drink wine, haven't really acquired a taste for it. And I also never drink beer. I've had it before but I hate the taste, so yea, I'm a big puss!

I don't know if it depends on where you live. But I like drinking long beach ice teas. it doesn't taste bad like the long island cousin. And it suppose to be stronger.

Screwdrivers got me through college.
A good black and tan.
Bass, Fat Tire Amber, local (Seattle/Portland area) microbrews for beer.
Mike's Hard Mancoolers for refreshment.
The Glenlivet (12yr is ok, 18yr is better) for straight up.
Absolut & XX (Currant & white grape juice, etc) for mixed.
Duck Farts for shots (Irish Creme, kahlua, whiskey -- when poured right it forms three layers.)

*sigh*

haven't had a drink since September due to meds....

Balvenie Doublewood.

Single malt whisky, twelve years old, with the finishing years done in casks that had previously held sherry.

VERY mellow, slighty smoky, beautiful sweet aftertaste.

If you even SLIGHTLY like the taste of 'Scotch', this will make you a lifelong believer!

(Remember where you heard it!!

Chambord gives it the purple color and rasberrie taste. It will also be stronger

How much $$?

Jameson is pretty tastey for the price. Corsendonk is my favorite beer, hard to get a hold of.

Big single malt fan myself. Balvenie doublewood 12 btw goes for about $40-$50.

Really like Jack Daniels single barrel. If you're a whiskey (or scotch) fan I highly recommend it.

Usual drink though is JD on the rocks, good scotch or whiskey straight up, a good martini (prefer 2/3 gin 1/3 vodka), or a really nice wine.

Black and Tans on most nights
JagerBombers for shots (Jagermeister + Red Bull)

and i found this lying around in my Inbox:

Before You Order a Drink...

Before you order a drink in public, you should read this!
Seven New York City bartenders were asked if they could nail a woman's
personality based on what she drinks. Though interviewed separately, they
concurred on almost all counts.
The results:

Drink: Beer
Personality: Causal, low-maintenance; down to earth.
Your Approach: Challenge her to a game of pool.

Drink: Blender Drinks
Personality: Flaky, whiny, annoying; a pain in the ass.
Your Approach: Avoid her, unless you want to be her cabana boy.

Drink: Mixed Drinks
Personality: Older, more refined, high maintenance, has very picky taste;
knows EXACTLY what she wants.
Your Approach: You won't have to approach her. If she's interested, she'll
send YOU a drink.

Drink: Wine (does not include White Zinfandel)
Personality: Conservative and classy; sophisticated yet giggles.
Your Approach: Tell her you love to travel and spend quiet evenings with
friends.

Drink: White Zinfandel
Personality: Easy; thinks she is classy and sophisticated, actually, she
has NO clue.
Your Approach: Make her feel smarter than she is...this should be an easy
target.

Drink: Shots
Personality: Likes to hang with frat-boy pals and looking to get totally
drunk... and naked.
Your Approach: Easiest hit in the joint. You have been blessed. Nothing to
do but wait, however, be careful not to make her mad!

Drink: Tequila
No explanations required - everyone just KNOWS what happens there.

THEN, there is the MALE addendum ---- The deal with guys is, as always,
very simple and clear cut:

Domestic Beer: He's poor and wants to get laid.

Imported Beer: He likes good beer and wants to get laid.

Wine: He is hoping that the wine will give him a sophisticated image to
help him get laid.

Whiskey: He doesn't give a damn about anything but getting laid.

Tequila: He is thinking he has a chance with the toothless waitress.

White Zinfandel: He's gay

Oatmeal Cookie Shots are the best (Hot Dam, Irish Cream, and Butterscotch schnapps.... shaken not stirred)

I love a good frozen Pina Coloda, it makes me see myself sitting on beautiful beach listening to the waves crash as my cabana boy waits on me hand and foot.

In the college days the rage was something called a Windex, rum runners, and buttery nipple shots ( irish creme & butterscotch snapps) and of course beer.
I like nice glass of red wine or a cold Fosters beer these days. In fact, I had a Miller lite last summer at a 4th of July party and it was pretty good. I was floored when I saw how cheap it was compared to the Fosters. I sense a blind fold taste off.
I actually rarely have a drink anymore, I had my fun several years ago. I saw someone post green apple martinis, I used to love them, until a group of us went out this past new years and lets just say I can't stomach one since that night . Now that I've written a book for my post, I'll depart ;) ;)

Add some Rumplemens (spelling?) and you got yourself, depending on your area, a "Liquid Cocaine," "Liquid Heroin," or "Dead Nazi." Mmmm, yummy!

Oooh! That sounds good. The highest Johnny Walker I've had is Black Label. (straight up, of course) Is Blue worth the price?
