Had my car covered in soft drink whilst I was in the supermarket early this morning.

It was broad daylight and fairly busy so there must have been witnesses.

Straight home and washed off before it set. Looked like Fanta or some other orange coloured sugary substance.

No damage but annoying none the less.

Man that sucks. I don't take the RX-8 shopping. If I do, I go to a quiet shopping centre and I park well out of the way.

Look at the bright side, you got to caress your new baby ;)

What is people thinking??? I bet our cars stand out so much they just have to do something about it.

How come there is much a low life out there! It is just a simple car, a car that only have styling to be a chick magnet, awesome power form an aeroplane engine, and handling to outrun any Australian V8s (Taka proven this recently).

It is just a very ordinary car :( Pls and Pls leave us alone. We don't need that much attention. Go and spend your energy jerking off

Good thing you cleaned it off immediately.... I've seen a soft drink eat the paintwork on a car before.... it ain't pretty. :(

Had this happened to my 8 at the HIN San Mateo. Jerk offs in their rice-cars have to spray coke on an 8 just to feel good about themselves. Low self-esteem people, it's what motivates these losers to do that.

sorry to hear that, but to make you feel better, half of 8A8Y 8 was once covered by white house paint from his work carpark (about 3 months ago).... lucky we got it off with thinners and gave it a quick polish :)

Sorry to here that kiwimeat. And it is so new. I posted ages ago about some prick spitting on my car when I was driving past. It was only a few weeks old. And the only post I ever made that has been moderated. A few C & F words!

Cheers,
Hymee.

When my car was only 5weeks old i had milk thrown over it i was not impressed to say the least , luckily i managed to wash it off straight away and i eventually found the culprit a builders labourer on one of the sites .

His work ute ended up stolen a few weeks later as they say shit happens :D

cheers

vampyre,

Typical malakes around Athens..

What can you do..

Kiwimeat, for insurence reasons most shopping centre car parks have security cameras.. Pay the right person the right amount of money to get you the sons of b!tches.

Hmmmm... People and monkeys and idiots must be attracted to our cars... not sure if it is the pheromones from the twin pipes or maybe a sixth sense as i swear my car was hidden next to a large 4wd with lots of space around me at the shops.

Then i come back (the 4wd is still there with no shopping in it) and find a small ding on the side between me and the 4wd  ... I am still in shock... It is minor i keep telling myself...... It hurt when my folks saw my car for the first time and they point it out to me, like i didn't know already!!... And she is only 2 weeks old, poor thing.

I must agree that shopping car parks are the kryptonite for our car. The only thing that can kill our beast. :(

What a bummer. At least milk is would neutralize the acid rain ;)

Cheers,

If everyone was given an RX-8 you can be sure no one will be vandalising these cars.
