I got a call from my dealer, and they just recieved their RX-8 brochures in. These are not the 5 x 12 leaflets from before. I will not be able to get to the dealership until after 6:00 tonight to pick one up. Check your dealers and see if they have them yet. If nobody else gets around to it I will post scanns late tonight.

Just picked up mine - it's a rather funky brochure, kind of two in one. Read it one way to the end and it's one brochure, flip it over and you can read another. Pretty nifty. :)

OtoH they're getting peeved at Mazda; they apparently were told today that the delivery of their first car was going to be pushed out another 30 days... :(

I am working on getting it up on a websight for people to download. The total set is 10 megs, at 72 dpi per image. It should be up by tomorrow afternoon.

This is probably the best car brochure I have ever seen. It is a cool design with technical data starting from one side and design info staring from the other. The two section meetin in the middle where this is a fold out contains the car info and options. Also they do list additional options like a car cover and the polished vent stakes. No word on where to get these options, I guess will find that out later.

I will post again with a link to the zip files.

Dealer got his today and set one aside for me. He also said he is still scheduled to get a "dealer" car June 15th. I will get a call to test drive it if my car hasn't come in yet.

GOT MINE!!! things of note i found while reading:

no auto climate control for the u.s.

the fender strakes are listed accessoeries available thru the dealer.

a fitted car cover in 4 color combinations(orange and black shown)
"night lights" i'm curious if this means the ones on the mirrors which would imply they don't come standard.

wheel centers (mentioned by me in the accessories thread) either polished mazda emblem or black with a rotary emblem(how to convince the wife i need these?)

oh and the mp3 player is listed there also.

Sorry for the delay,
I had some problems with my getting the links right for the zip file so I just created a quick page for it.

The pictures from the back are the technical side. The front is the astetic side. The foldout is the options page.

I hope you enjoy

I got my brochure from Oak Tree Mazda today. They have a bunch of them. It is really cool! By the way, zoom44 says "no auto climate control", but under "interior features" it says "Center instument-panel display for .....,climate control......" It's hard to tell from the pictures.

Thanks for the scan!

This cleared something up for me, I thought the spare tire kit (STR) came with the "limited use tire"? But the brochure states, Includes mounting hardware and wheel; tire sold seperately. So you only get a 'rim' and tools with the kit... That kind of sucks for shelling out $400.. I might have to rethink that one.. hmmm

Good news, about the MP3 Player and strakes. Does anybody know the 'suggested retail' for these items, before I talk to my dealer about them?

just visited Irvine Mazda....and got a brochure too. it is a nice booklet with 2 "sides", as someone else said.

as i was looking through it, i noticed a shot of a rear 3/4 view of a yellow 8 in it. from that angle, the butt has a resemblence to the RX7 butt. not a bad thing, in my opinion.

just thought i would share, and see if anyone else shares my thinking.

I just received the brochure, my dealer mailed it out to me. Very cool, if you don't have one you should take the time to pick one up.

My dealer mailed the brochure to me- pretty impressive. My dealer overall is good- just not as knowledgable as they could be...

Still no VINs, though
