1500 calories is nothing. A Garbage Plate (http://www.thelynches.com/Personal_Pages/Damian/Nick_Tahou_Recipe.htm) from Nick Tahou's in Rochester is guesstimated at 2400 calories. I wish I could get one of those right about now...

1500 is disgusting, 2400 is absolutely disgusting.
That is your daily calorie intake in one plate. Damn, it makes me ill just thinking about that.

That's like eating a bowl full of lard right out of the box!!! Enjoy!! That's a month worth of Cholesterol and sat fats, and ton of other bad stuff. They should offer free heart checkups with that burger.

It's just a matter of time before food places become liable for selling food like this. But in the meantime I am going to pop a few more buttons off my pants. Yea!!!!

That will be a sad sad day. I hate that mentality, I can get by with eating fast food about once a month, so others can too. They choose not too.

The last time I eat a burger at the white castle was when I was a little kid. A cop was sitting next to me on one of those bar stools chomping away on his burger. I was trying to sqeeze Ketsup on mine from those little packs and it squirted on his sleeve jacket. I slowly snaked away from there and hoped he never looked at his sleeve. LOL Its funny but I was scared to death cause I just put a nice blotch of ketsup on his sleeve. hehe.

Hey Flatso. Was working a lot of hours. Doing independent consulting/web design now so I have a more flexible schedule.

White Castle rocks! They're huge around here. Nothing like showing up there a little buzzed at 4:00AM. You pay for it in pain and odor but man are they good. I truly think those things they call onions really are cabbage.

If you think that is bad try Mr C's "Fat Bitch" sandwich in NJ. It includes cheese steak, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and French fries. Instant heart attack!

Nah, as long as they inform people of the calories they are fine! I have to find it but I believe there was a guy who tried to sue McDonalds for his weight problem and lost! That burger doesn't force itself into anyones mouth!

yea but remember the first lawsuits against cig companies didn't win either. It took a while but with the high rate of morbid obesity and the $$$ involved I am sure we will see plenty of suits.

Have we surpassed the age of late night ramen noodles and spam?

I love White Castle (Krystal's down south) and they love me back for an entire day.:)

One major difference that you have to look at is the cigarette companies knew things that they did not disclose to people who were buying their products. Addictive and even poisonous things are and have been present in cigarettes! Fast food companies now disclose calorie information and offer healthy options (about all of them offer a salad of some type). There is so much education about the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise that a fast food company would have to be knowingly hiding something like......well.......an addictive substance in their foods! A 1500 calorie double cheeseburger a day keeps the cardiologist paid! That should be the saying! Much better than the apple saying!
