Ditto^^^ They have a good reputation around here for rotary work... BlueRenesis82 11-16-2004, 02:31 PM They quoted me a price of $200 for a street tune with a Power FC. Sounds pretty good to me. Anyone have any other stuff I should consider? G8rboy 11-16-2004, 02:46 PM They quoted me a price of $200 for a street tune with a Power FC. Sounds pretty good to me. Anyone have any other stuff I should consider? Are they sure the Power FC will work on the 8? I thought that was mainly for the FD's...? Would be good to find out though... the price sounds good. BlueRenesis82 11-16-2004, 03:29 PM They said that they could do it, they specifically mentioned the Power FC, so I'm guessing that they can make it work. I checked out their website and they have done some pretty nice jobs on third gen RX-7's, which makes me feel good about going thru them and their experiance. Keep us updated then... might be a nice alternative to CZ/eManage. BOOSTD 7 11-16-2004, 03:39 PM Either you or them are confused, the Power FC won't work on an RX-8 ... BlueRenesis82 11-16-2004, 04:13 PM well, in that case I'll be looking at either an emanage or maybe a wolf ecu. I will end up waiting till after winter tho, sadly BOOSTD 7 11-17-2004, 09:54 AM If you wait until Spring, hopefully there will be more options at that point ... alnielsen 11-17-2004, 01:48 PM A-Spec Tuning on Fullerton in downtown Chicago tunes rotarys. About 1 mile north of North Ave. I live about 2 miles from them. Also they are moving this spring. Check the Midwest forum at RX7Club.com for the information on the new location. Red Devil 11-17-2004, 04:39 PM Oh, I thought they were just within city limits...that would explain why I never noticed them before. BlueRenesis82 11-20-2004, 09:55 AM hey A spec any approximate idea how much it would cost me to have a gauge hood fabricated for my dash and have the gauges installed and hooked up? A-spec Tuning 11-20-2004, 01:44 PM BlueRenesis82, well we cant mold plastic gauge hoods but if you supply the gauge hood we can definately install them! A-spec www.a-spectuning.com |
