some jerk off in an ford windstar cut me off really hard, so i gave him a little toot of the horn to let him know i didnt appreciate it. So a little more down the road i am in the fast lane and he is in the slow lane and he starts coming over again, totally not looking where he is going and almost hits me again. This time i hold down the horn for like 10 seconds, and he never looks back...i saw his face in his side view the hole time. if you are that much in your own world, stay off the damn road, you almost caused 2 accidents in less than 5 minutes with me alone

Dont take people like this seriously. He cut you off because you were driving a beautiful car and he simply wanted to prove nothing to you. This happens to me all the time. I just ignore idiots like that. A while back, some guy in a Honda Accord wanted to race. You know what I did? At first I wanted to show him a piece of my speed. But I thought, you know what? I've got a better car. So, I let him go and I saved a few extra dollars on gas by not accelerating like a maniac. Thank God, you and your car are alright. Mustangs. You see all over the road. How often do you see a rx8 when driving.

I have had my car for almost a month now , twice someone has tried to changed lanes into mine ...luckly I put the right foot down and got out of the way . NOW , Weds when I was leaving work , I pulled behind one of the other employees ... She told be yesterday that when I went to pass her , she couldn't see me ..because the CAR was so low to the ground ...so it got me thinking thats why some people don't see us :(

RX-8's low to the ground? Hahah I find that laughable. Lower to the ground than a Minivan I would say hehe.

As far as height goes, the RX-8 is not all that low to the ground.

Yea I was next to a 350Z and it was way lower then I was and I have me seat to the floor board and all the way to the back.

But I cant stand mini van drivers they are like suv drivers. There was a car and driver (or maybe some other car mag) that reviewed the 350z and the rx-8, one of the neg points on the rx-8 was that the car was too tall. But when you scrolled down to their own published numbers, the 350z is actually a couple of inches taller than the rx-8.

No, people. You could cause a serious accident or road rage incident. If another driver is a dumbass, just let it go. Your car is worth too much, and so is your life.

Were they talking about ground clearance?

Were they talking about ground clearance? No, they were pretty specific that the RX-8 didn't look like a sports car because the car itself was tall and not sleek.
