Just wanted to say hello, as I'm a new member to your forum. This site has been a great resource as I've researched the RX-8. I finally pulled the trigger, and have one of my very own due to arrive sometime this summer.

Yep, well all I can say is that it better be as good as they say it is, because I sold my 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo today to order mine. :)

Oh damn! This thing has a rotary engine!? Doh! ;)
Actually, I could couldn't care less about the rotary engine. It has an almost 10,000 RPM readline a low center of gravity and a low polar moment and seats 4. What more could a married guy ask for.
While the Turbo was a kick, you get real tired of worring about the $130,000 car in the parking lot catching a door ding and with $1999.00 per month payments, the car cost alomst as much per month as my 3,600 sqft. house. I will be paying cash for the RX-8 and stay out of debt. Just because you may have the money for a 911 Turbo doesn't mean it is the responsible thing to own and drive.
