Has anyone heard the exhaust note of the RX-8?... From idle and then the transgression to redline? Or are they're any sound files? Thanks, appreciate it.

One is called "Time Attack" that is real good from inside the car. danielk015 05-09-2003, 01:40 PM i drove it around for a little while and although didnt get to 9K redline, got to around 7K... i liked the sound cuz it was not loud, but still made a sweet sound... i can compare it to the 330Ci... similiar i think... Does sound good, but I think the speed is in Km, not mph since it clearly looks like a shift from 2nd to 3rd at over 100, and 173 is a bit more that even Mazda says it will do!:p DrKillJoY 05-09-2003, 09:52 PM The ones I have heard, have sounded like a well muffled 2nd gen RX-7 (86-91) the exhaust is definatley rotary, however is much more "civilized" however you do still get that familiar ziiing at high RPMs., :D |
