Anyone know if there is a car cover for the RX-8? I have to park outside so want a cover so I don't need to wash it before every time I drive!

There doesn't appear to be one in the Mazda option catalogue but I would have thought they'll make one - most manufacturers do. Anyone know if they have plans? The actual manufacturer covers are so much better than generic ones as they really fit.

Thanks,
John

Hello John-san

This info from Japan Mazda forum site.
some guy say
"I chose "Araden ’†Œ^2(KTB2B)" [’†Œ^-Medium size]
and
"my RX-8 is full-option but that is just fit on my car"

http://www.araden.co.jp/index_c.html

I bought an Another one at the AUTOBACS.
Was the delivery-day of your RX-8 decided?
I wish that you receive your RX-8 early.

see you

Thanks East Moon - good information!

I hoped to hear my delivery date today but no news yet. :(

I'll cycle around tonight to try and find out what I can. I have to take delivery soon to take some of the heat off you with all the questions people have! :p

JSG,

I hope you get your RX-8 soon. I also ordered the Titianum Grey so I would like to know what you think of the color?
:D

Why are car covers sooooo expensive I talked to my dealer and they told me they haven't heard anything about a rx8 car cover but they told me the price should range from 200-300 comparing the price of car covers from their other vehicles. I remember seeing car covers for 80-100 at pep boys.

Some are simply "dust covers", while others are cushioned and waterproof while at the same time "breathable". Even amongst the different levels of protection, there is good and iffy quality and fit.

Besides, Pep Boys stuff is normally cheaper for a reason, and not a level comparison for pricing on most things.
