Hey guys i just peeked at one of the post that has the greddy turbo kit installed on it.looks real nice.............now i know the car has only been out for a little while and no one really has one booosted but is our engine capable of handling boost??????? becasue my freind just boosted his honda prelude and it blew up the 2nd day due to some minor install mistakes but he was able to afford it .......im not so i dont wanna blow my engine or anything.......so i wanna know yoru opinions on the reliablity of the renesis.......cause i know the rx7's had lots of problems with the apex seals and what not so let me hear your input.......i wanna know becasue i need something to make my 8 go faster..............

You kind of answered your own question. No one is really sure, but we will see shortly, as a few systems are on the brink of coming out.

prob around 5-6 k like others said on the thread.
If you can't afford a new engine, tranny, or other large repair bill then don't add a turbokit to an N/A car, especially one as unproven as the RX-8.

IkeWrx is right, even though he is the "troll king" j/k. If I were you I'd wait for the kit to come out, then wait another 6 months for others to install it and test it out, see how many trannys and engines blow, and any other problems that may occur, before you blow your money load. I'd love to spend the money when the sytem comes out, but I'm gonna hold my load as long as I can. :D
