Yeah some percentage of dogs (30%) have been found to be able to smell impending seizures in people. There's been news stories about how some families have dogs that will force the epileptic into an open area minutes before the seizure and how some bigger dogs will sit on children with epilepsy to prevent them from hurting themselves more.
Dogs are awesome. :)
