Actually, I believe they are giving away 4 RX-8's total. Two to last weeks finalists and two to this weeks finalists. The big winner gets $100K also.

Yeah I saw the show tonight. Two guys won the cars. They had no idea what the car was all about.

Hey everyone, I have been watching the board for months now (ever since I filmed the semi-finalist episode) and have had to keep quiet because of contracts with NBC, but now I can finally talk about the RX-8 I won on Fear Factor last night!!!!!!

I admit, I didn't know much about the car when I first went on the show because it was so new, but the SECOND I knew I had a chance at winning one, I researched it like crazy!

I just ordered mine last week from Mazda, and because of the Fear Factor tie-in, I should get it within about 6 weeks! I opted for the Sunlit Silver with the black/red interior, moonroof, and the GPS! I just had a huge party for the show last night to celebrate and I can't wait to get it!!!!

Its good to finally be able to join the board....I am sure I'll be posting a lot.

Hey there! NO, unfortunately, the RX-8 that we had on set was supposedly a $250,000 prototype so we didnt get to drive it at all! After winning it, I started up the engine and the producers went crazy and swarmed me and yelled at me to shut it off!

I can't wait to get it and I'll be sure to post some nice pics when I do.

Any idea how I can pre-order a mazdaspeed kit for it? Or, on the other hand....do you think I should wait a little bit until a few more body kits come out to chose from?

The mazda speed kit is nice, but I would wait and see what other vendors do before commiting to one design.

Wow, cool to have you here on the board. My wife and I love the show, we watch it EVERY WEEK. Where you the guy who got his car stolen? Anyway, congrats and good luck with the $100,000.00. (Unless its already been filmed and you know the outcome. ;))

YUP!!! My car was stolen about a week before I filmed the show, so when Joe Rogan pulled up in the RX-8, I KNEW it was some sort of wierd sign!

If you and your wife are so into the show, let me know, and I may be able to get you an interview for the new couples SUPER episode they are doing with a prize of $1,000,000!!!!! I am good friends with all of the casting people now, so if you are interested, and you think you would do well, I could totally get you in. ;)

Congrats Todd and welcom aboard. I remeber the first episode of the finals when Joe came out, in my car (hah!), my jaw was ready to hit the floor. I'm pretty sure he wasn't driving it until he pulled up in front of all the contestants. But yea take some pics and post em as soon as you can. Later!
