gord boyd 05-05-2003, 07:43 AM says 2/3 Britons have had sex in car.
I think we need a contest for RX-8. Now EAST MOON
and other Japanese please report in # of days from launch
and we'll track this globally!
evel333 05-05-2003, 09:04 AM Heh heh. My girlfriend has refered to my RX-7 as an "anti-makeout" car, mostly because of the intruding transmission tunnel. However, I have heard other owners are able to accomplish a little snuggle and much more... (^_^)
evel333 05-05-2003, 09:12 AM Mazda RX-8 - a sports car like no other?! (^_^)
wakeech 05-05-2003, 10:55 AM ahahaha... "anti-makeout"... i'm 6'3", so i can really only have fun in something full-sized, like that Impala... ah, the memories :D ;)
cueball 05-05-2003, 01:17 PM I know there is a way to do it in a fd, but with all the struggling that would entail, why not just go home and do it. You have a fast car, use it.:)
B-Nez 05-05-2003, 02:34 PM I've grooved in the boot of my old Renault 25GTX, so the RX-8 should be a snap.
maverikk 05-05-2003, 03:02 PM Renault25 in Florida? Interesting! Maybe it was overseas though... :D
B-Nez 05-05-2003, 03:06 PM Lived in the UK for 3 years - 94-97
Edit: And by the way, that was the WORST car I've ever owned

WHAT THE F*CK??? in the trunk... how big WAS this thing??????
B-Nez 05-05-2003, 07:10 PM Okay, if you must know details...the rear seats were folded forward, but we were definitely in the trunk.
gord boyd 05-06-2003, 03:58 AM Think "freestyle doors"
Think "pass-through"
The only problem is the white ceiling marks easily!
maverikk 05-06-2003, 05:47 AM Renault 25 is comparable to a Ford Mondeo I think, maybe slightly larger (pic attached). Bad to hear it was not good, I have very good experiences with Renault. But mine were brand new and I held them only for 2-3 years each...
Back to topic: I think it WILL be difficult in the RX-8 :(. Maybe best in the rear seat with the front folded.... :) We will see :D
gord boyd 05-06-2003, 07:14 AM Remember, the design theme is "comfortably snug".
Besides, the word comfort was mentioned more than 21 times in the Press Kit.
You know the "High-Mount Backbone" may be just the ticket.
I lived in Singapore for 4 years with an Airedale to walk
in the evenings. Singapore is cramped for space but the parks
are amazing. So are the newspaper-lined, bouncing cars
and the tissues deposited out the side. I just don't think lining the back pop-out window will be that easy.

rotarypower 05-06-2003, 09:46 PM lol.....
gord boyd 05-07-2003, 03:00 AM Another vignet from the Press Kit:
"for customers who have never lost the thrill of motion"
Rotary Soul 05-07-2003, 04:57 AM it will get nasty in the car if done too much... i wouldn't risk my rx8 gettin nasty! i'd rather pay the money for a motel or something
