Im looking for opinions here, what color accents look best on a yellow car? I mean brake calipers and such, what color would look good against the yellow?

 

I think black would be a good color for calipers on a yellow 8 or, if you were replacing the stock brakes, then chrome calipers. Not sure how I like red on yellow. With bigger brakes, it would be nice. With just painting the stock calipers, for me, it probably wouldn't look as nice.

BTW, this thread probably should have been started in the Exterior Apperance section.

 

your probably right about the appearance section, im still learning all the different sections on this forum. im just excited about my new car and full of questions

I think red calipers on any color looks good (some more than others). IMO, red calipers pretty much go with any color car, because it seems to accent the color of the rims more than the color of the car anyway.

 

BTW, KY, congratulations on your new 8. I have a friend who does news reporting for a televsion station in Lexi. If you see a Kevin Wuzzardo during the week or doing weekend anchoring, know that he has a friend in GA who has an 8!

Back to the topic, I don't disagree with Soundave. My car is titanium gray, and I had thought about painting the calipers red. Thus far, I have decided not to for a number of reasons. Several people have posted pics of their painted calipers (from red to yellow to blue) in the Photo Gallery section. You might want to do a quick search to check them out and judge for yourself.
