I've had a Type R since 1997 and now own an RX-8, so I've been revvin' to 9K for quite awhile.

My name backwards, and R is an joke to make fun of those people with the R stickers and it just remained since there are too many other Nomis out there.

I have no idea..it just came to me in the night...

"Duke" is a family joke. My real name is Guy (I didnt pick it, Dad did-I think as a cruel joke). My wife (an xray tech) called for a patient in the E/R one night, "Is Guy X here for his xray?" A big muscular biker dude gets up & says to my wife, "Don't call me Guy, that's a fag name. My name is Duke!" Of course she loved that, & it's been a family joke ever since to call me Duke. The GG is my initials, and in my own feeble mind, I think Im #1.

My ex-boyfriend was helping me pick out a name for ICQ. I'm thai and we had recently gone to a chinese restaurant and had brought back fortune cookies which were sitting out and BAM. I came up with a name.

I picked blue flash for the simple reason i own a blue 8 and i'm gone in a flash.the reason i'm now 8's enough is when they change formats on the site it bumped me off as blueflash and its the first thing that popped in my head . but i don't like it as much as blue flash .i want too be blueflash again help.

MTCD -(Midnight Toker Concept Designs)- 01 -(when pronounced as "Oh one" it closely resembles my name Owen)-

Came up with the MTCD when I was 16 (11 years ago) and when I started venturing into the net it seemed to be a great handle as it's never taken, I use it everywhere I go.

It's the way our neighbor would always mis-pronounce our dog's name (Naboo). So whenever he's a bad dog we say it's not our dog, it's his evil twin, Nubo.

Like you, I live in Houston. I am half Thai. My mom is from Thailand. My dad is from...uh...that place with corn... oh yeah, Iowa.

Anyways, several years ago my friend Mike needed some help with his 1st gen RX-7. He was fixing it up since the car had tons of issues. He couldn't figure out why it wouldn't run. He had spent a couple of weeks working on it and was very frustrated. I looked at the car and had the issue resolved in only a few minutes. It was something very simple but he just neglected it since he thought nothing of it. He said that I must be some sort of rotary god. The title again popped up when I was trying to help Drkilljoy and another friend get a 2nd gen RX-7 running. It was another small issue that I found. I mostly use the name in rememberance of Mike. He died of cancer not long after. Some people criticize me for using the title because they think is is arrogance on my part. In a way it is but it is mostly for Mike.

Icarus is greek mythology. It's what I named my Mazda6 when I had it. Daedalus being the one in the myth that actually preveiled is what I named my 8. Icarus just seemed more fitting though :-/
