Just wanted to if had any cars with the nav system. Wanted to if you can sell everything that would be required to equip a car that did not come with it from the factory. Thanks

I decided to post some pics of the necessary harnesses for nav. Its quite an ordeal to change it all out, at least for common folk. I spoke to a tech buddy of mine (Orville Murray) and he said he swapped systems on 2 new cars and it was pretty easy (for him anyway). The complete system exceeds $3000 if your car was never equipped with nav. Probably closer to $6000 from Mazda.

Paul --- Would love to be able to find that dash piece also to put in a carputer. Also I need the interior panel for the rear drivers side door. It got gouged the first day i had my car. I drive a Ti with black interior

I just got another 8 with Nav. It should be here tomorrow. Of course I'm selling the screen in complete form.

Paul, I have leather interior. But I believe that panel is just vinyl.

i will buy up all your old HU for the RX8 .. I can reflash them and get them to folks that need them.. LEt me know when you have some HU's there that need a home.

Okay all I want is the screen, and the motorized dash so that I can connect it to a car PC or perhaps a PS2...I don't need NAV, just the screen and dash bits....

I will take your old parts from you.. IE the dash cover that you will be replaceing.. I have a use for those that dont have a LCD hole in it.. :)

The complete kit to convert to nav is $3400.
From Mazda it is about $8500 at suggested retail prices including harnesses.
Let me know if this is in line with what you were thinking.
