the bodyshop found it for me...i told him to find me any grill and paint it black. He then called back and said Im not painting it if u change ur mind i wont charge u to paint it black because it looks to good as it is...i went to take a look at it and i ended up liking it :)

hey .. is that anybody bought a ms style kits from ebay?! cuz the price is so attractive!! the whole kits just 400!! but I hear some guy said the spoiler stander is make by plastic. so.. I don't know...haha..

hmm funny think is I said to my self 'that should be painted black but it sure looks sweet' now I'm thinking it looks good but

It looks like it was found at Home Depot...

You should check to see if it is in fact from there, as it may not be stainless and cause other problems. Looks really nice though. If it is not stainless or aluminum you need to give it a couple of clear coats minimum to prevent rust.


FYI: A long time ago, I had the same looking mesh to cover my intercooler on an Eclipse from rocks and ended up with it rusting quickly and having to remove it. :eek:

is that the genuine ms kit it looks like a replica or jdm version? there's no black bar. Either way looks great. The grille is ok.

hahaha lookin at my picture and my car now im getting so annoyed of my front plates...u guys are XXXXXX for rubbin it in and getting it to bother me now :( haha ohwell, until i move or mayyyybeee a couple of warnings or two.

Your car looks very sharp. I would prefer the grills to be darker though.

the only thing i don't like is the grill, especially since you have the foglights BEHIND the grill, which looks weird and probably hinders the lights themselves.

Other than that - looks good - and yes, lose the plate.... :)

Looks good. My 8 is also Ti Grey. And I sympathize with you about the plate. I am also in VA and really do not want to have it on my car either. I think I will give it a try without the plate. What's one ticket? "If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space" ;)

Looking good! All I would recommend is grabbing the MS Spoiler to finish it off :)

I was curious what kit did you get. Like ZOOM ZOOM noticed it doesn't have the black bar like the official MS bumper. Is yours fiberglass or urethane and what did you do to cover up the white bar behind the grill, also how much did it cost. Either way your car is lookin really sweet.

Very nice, I think a black grill would further enhance the look, too much silver up front.

And the MS rear spoiler would round it out nicely (did I just say that?). :eek:

Looks sharp... the natural color looks great on Tit gray. I've got some stainless material that I'm planning on painting black since my 8 is black (just for the oil cooler openings and bottom of the airdam.

Yeah i have a replica kit made from urethane...here is a couple more pics for you guys after the car got a little shower :)

OH to answer some questions...The bodyshop painted the inside black to black everything out. The fog lights look great at night....it lights up the grill and you can see it, pretty neat hehe. I didn't want to buy the brackets for the fog lights so i had the bodyshop bolt it up on that bar. all and all everything cost about 2200 bucks......and yeah it looked like the middle part of the bumper was lower but i fixed that...it was a peice of plastic that poked up a little higher b/t the hood and the bumper.
