i used to be a big audiophile 10 years ago and now i'd like to get back to something i love. i'm looking into vintage McIntosh components. i prefer tube circuitry but would consider solid state. i am looking for a pre-amp, amp and tuner or a pre-amp/amp and tuner or a receiver. i have looked on ebay and have seen some nice stuff but i'm nbot sure what the best years and models to get are. :confused:

Good Lord. I haven't heard anyone mention MacIntosh since my days of installing audio components. I've always dreamed of owning their components, but my tastes lie with more modernesque devices.
