I've also kept the STi as second choice on my list, but so far the RX-8 has nothing to fear in my case.... :D

i still have a STi on order. agreement with dealer to sell for 1500 over invoice. but 99% sure getting rx8

I also had a STI on order until I found the RX8. Subaru called last month and I told him I was not going to get the STI. Still love my WRX. Looks like Subaru is losing to Mazda; also looks like those that like the STI also like and pick the RX8.

I would like to get both sti and rx-8 but I can only choose one *already bought eclipse*... but finally they took out those ugly bug eye lights.

Haha! I love this thread and all the ones like it. What I can't understand for the life of me is how anyone with a pulse can take a look at the RX-8 and the STi side by side and say that they would rather drive the STi. From a pure emotional standpoint, I just don't get it. Sure, if you are a geek with a calculator, then run the numbers and you can tell me how much better the STi is when I get back from having fun with my RX-8. I hope that STi owners sleep better at night knowing they won the a numeric superiority battle, but lost the war! :) ZOOM-ZOOM...
