It would be better for the kits to come unpainted unless it's the factory MS kit. Due to the fact that it's either Fiberglass or Urethane, the materials sometimes wont fit "exactly" to the car... so the bodyshop will have to work on fixing that. Better to have it fit, and then painted.

At least that is how "most" Japanese kits are... unpainted.

yes.. un painted is the only good way to buy the. TheMS kit well need some adjustments made by a good bodyshop.. but thats why they are cheep..
However I would have a body shop do any kit. and paint it all to match.

yes i will give a break on price for the whole kit..

And that kit is made in L.A. by my biggest supplyer. its great kit. It does however use the OEM hardware so dont expect to get a box of hardware with it. Becaseu it attaches to all the OEM spots. and like most kits the Side Skirts will not have holes you have to make the mouting hole. That is just so you get it right where it needs to be. It comes unpainted. Fitment is good, but all things about your car Body should be done by a good shop. You spent so much on your car it only makes sense to get it installed by a pro shop. I will post the full kit price on my site today. it will be the first price you see .

I think it is cool especially if you are doing the Carbon Fiber thing on lots of the car...I thought about getting the Sunlight Silver cover to match the car :)

Well i would like to .. but they have a very high buy in.. and while i think they make great stuff. I cannot afford to buy that many Flywheels, Exhust, and swaybars.. Most of my Clients all want the MS line first. .. So I try to offer those parts first..

If you can take it only directly from Japan,take them with the ms carbon mirror cover together.

FRP + Fiber Glass.

Ok, I'm in the market for a bumper to replace my cracked stock one that was hit by some road debris. Finally decided on the Knight Sports without the bumper vents (unless someone can explain what they're for) and could only find one poster who says he has it, but no pics (dead links) or testimonial as to fitment, material, or quality. KS seems to have one of the pricier kits, so I'd like to see "some" examples before I make the leap. Anyone seen the KS kit in the real world? Thx.

P.S. The reason I liked the KS, is because it was the closest match to what I imagined the front bumper "should" have looked like from the factory. That is, purely functional and with NO false opening in front of the frame bumper. (Still can't believe Mazda put cosmetics over such basic functionality, or lack, there of! :confused: ) It's even worse on the MazdaSpeed, what are they thinking! Yeach!! I could go with Auto-Bahn (clean, cheap, but too Euro looking) or Auto-Exe (hmm), however Knight Sports seems the best :D . I hope you get what you pay for from them.

hmm someone did a nice camera mount that took a total of 1 hour...just mounted it in the pass through :D

I'm updating the Nav/DVD DIY to include a backup cam and modded xbox server...I have them almost 100% done I just haven't uploaded the pics

the cam is a lot of fun I may mount one in the grill now for an interesting perspective :D
