I'm from Sheboygan Falls. Believe me, the 8 is VERY rare around here. Until about a month ago, I hadn't even seen one besides mine. I've seen another blue and a titanium. You'd have the first black one around here.

Winning blue, Greenfield. The only other one that I've seen was right around where I live, and it was a red...I have yet to see another blue out on the road.

I had my red one up at the Mayfair mall last week....will be up there next saturday as well.

Damn...I saw a silver one in Plymouth today. I got mine in February and didn't see a single one around here until a few weeks ago. The silver today makes three now. The uniqueness of my car is fading! :( Just kidding. It is still rare enough where I have to answer questions almost every time I'm at the gas pump, and it still gets looks like you wouldn't believe. I still see people walking down the street and when I drive past, I see them in my rear view mirror turning around and checking out the car. I'ts great! :p

I see two pretty regularly in Milwaukee. One blue with a black bra and Packers liscense plates, also see what I think is the same silver once in a while. I'd imagine most of the 8s are out in the burbs.

No bra. I'm a pretty pale white kid, so I'm hard to miss behind the wheel.

Not you I've been seein then. It's actually kind of a shame what the one I've been seeing has done to the car. The gold liscense plates look hideous and then add the black bra and the car kind of looks like a mess.

gold license plate holders? EWWWWW. Never been able to understand what some people do to their cars for the sake of mods. The best place to catch me is either in Oak Creek, where I work or at Road America. I 'm planning on tracking my car quite a bit in the upcoming year, with the F-Body club. It would be pretty cool to have some people to come with me, even if they don't have an RX-8.

You should head up to Miller Park for autox come spring time. GLD will probably have another Rallyx or two as well, those are always fun just to spectate at even if you have no intention of running.

Well, I think that my car is pretty decently setup, RB front/rear sways, SS brake lines, SS clutch line. Any other recommendations if I do want to autocross my car?

I've had my black 8 for just over a year here in Milwaukee. I've seen a few around the eastside where I live (blue w/bra, silver and red). I saw another red one today on Capitol and still jump around when I see another one.

I must not ever be by anyone else in Milwaukee that has one. I have seen 2 to date, different colors and very different sides of town. But we should plan a Milwaukee get together after the winter to see everyone and see whats going on.

Shinka in Racine. I see a yellow and a red around here once every week or two. It would be pretty rare for anyone to see my car, it gets driven maybe 1 day a week. I've never seen another Shinka in person.

Have an insurance agent showing up at our place at 6:30 and would have to move a bunch of cars to get Shinka out of the garage and I put almost 3500 miles on it this year which is about 500 more than I wanted to already and I have to drive it to a club event next weekend.

Guess it depends on how tonight goes and how long it takes.

Just heard that they are repaving some turns at Road America. Don't know the time frame, but I heard that they are repaving turns 3, 5, 6, 8, and 12. Should make the track more fun.

They sure are, they had all the repaving stuff there when they closed the track the last day of the fbody meet.

Hey Milwaukee guys. If you see a Red 8 rolling around on aftermarket rims (no spoiler), that'd be me. Always good seeing other RX-8s.

Came up to MW last week with my 8 from Indy for work and going back through Chicago on Friday, caught a rock on the windshield. Little spot right in the line of sight. Now getting the windshield replaced. Rats! Driving through Chicago sucks. Driving a rental this week up here. BTW, I like MW.
