I read pretty much every day, but don't post all that often -- when it comes to answering the info questions, there always seem to be others that know more than me... And most of my questions have been answered, so there's little need to start new threads...

I'm just trying to be patient, and hoping for an early release (of the car, not of my 9-5 sentence). I want to break the car in before mid-July, as I've got a road trip to Denver planned.

Us NWer's are here, I just dont post much, I lurk mostly. Thats due to I wont be able to buy my Rx 8 till next summer. I love the RX 8, and cars in general, but im not very savy when it comes to the technical aspects of cars so I dont have much to contribute.

I do look forward to seeing your Rx 8 on the road, and reading the experiences you have with them.

well heres one new guy from alaska,cant wait for mine.must not be to popular up here yet because our dealer has 10 cars coming and only 2 were pre order and i just put my deposit on #3 on 6-6-03.

There was one available over the weekend in Kalispell, MT! Red and ready for purchase...it's just a short flight and a great drive back to Alaska!

Howdy! I'm an RX8'er in Eugene. I haven't seen very many here; maybe a total of 5. I kind of like the fact that the RX8 is somewhat rare. It makes it stand out as the very special car it is.

I bought mine last April...used, with only 2,300 miles on it. It was being offered by Lithia Hyundai in Renton, WA. The previous owner obviously didn't appreciate the car but he didn't do too much damage to it and all the running gear seems to be in great condition. Little by little, I'm healing her wounds...mostly to the interior.

i'm usually in the seattle/redmond/bellevue area... and they are not as rare anymore, i'm seeing alot more on the road now... infact i've seen 2 other yellows now... :(

Yes I love the 8 and will be getting one ASAP. In fact I just saw 3 of them, 1 black, 1 silver, and 1 gray on the freeway last weekend on the way back from Spokane. Great weather for driving, and on those mountain roads...drives me nuts to see them.

Also anyone who has an 8 in the Tricities, WA please speak up. I've seen red, black, and gray, green, and a beautiful winning blue mazdaspeed, plus a yellow one I know belongs to someone at RHS where I graduated from. Some VW guys had a get together at DQ in Richland, I think we should show them up with rotaries, and the more 8s the better!
