I think "yatta" is a Japanese interjection which stands for "you did it" or "i did it". In regards to that video, I'm afraid to ask who did what and to who.

that is wrong in so many ways

just so you know...

it IS a group of japanese comedians. basically for one of their skits, they did a music video which was very very well received. so then this came out of it. as for how i know... i read this a while back and one day i was flipping thru the channels and as i passed the japanese channel, it was one of those skit comedy shows (like in living color, mad tv, SNL) and i recognized 3 or so of the guys from the yatta video.

of course the stuff i read might be wrong and maybe the guys on the show were just look a likes for the guy in the yatta video but i doubt it.

OMG i cant get teh damm song out of my head.......LOL
