Just in the sharing mood ... finally got my home office setup. Is there anything better than working from home?

How about some other home office pictures.

It looks tighter than it is, there's almost 3 feet between the wall and the edge of the desk.

Notice the framed 20"x30" of the SpeedSource RX-8 on the wall, and all the 8"x10"s? All pictures I took. Got another 12"x18" going over the hutch, and some more 8x10's :D

Sounds like you are joining the club. I gave my two weeks notice yesterday from my at home job. The bosses were starting to get a little antsy and one is a major butt. I am making enough from commissions that I can spend more time with my wife(also retired) doing things outside of the office. It should be a nice change for you though.

If anybody wants any advise on product or design on a home office, PM me. I work as a Commercial Interior Designer for a contract furniture firm. I might be able to give you some pointers on set up or save you from throwing your money away on bad furniture.

Here's my home office setup. I have a room to work in, and a "server" room, with a closet with a dedicated T1 running in from Sprint across the street. The servers are linked to a KVM for direct access.

I'm going to be building an Athlon 64 DAW sometime this coming year...my wife balked at the $3K price tag, but I should be able to write it off as a business expense. I'm drooling just thinking of it.

Looks great Ryan. Now take another pic after a week or two when you've actually had a chance to work there... I suspect it won't be quite so neat and orderly! :p

Well, at least it would add some color to that room. :p

Paint my good man! What you need is some paint on those walls. ;)

Good choice in mice, btw. :)

Ha, that mouse DOES rule. I've had that thing for about 3 years, and don't think I could use anything else.

Paint could be nice, but I kinda like my wall decor thus far :D

To me it looks like another one of meow's mean green machines. What would one of Meow's machines be doing on Ryan's desk? Inquiring minds want to know... or did she bring one of her car models over for Ryan to play with? :D

Here is my home office.......The desk area itself is rather small. I had a custom desk top made to fit the nook next to my stairs. Its on a height adjustable base with a articulating keyboard tray. I use a Herman Miller Aeron Chair...very nice to sit on.

the most important things are my Line6 guitar amp under my desk and the Line 6 Guitar port hooked into my computer. I also wired my computer directly into my home theatre system. The second photo shows my storage area and the area which I met with clients.
